ListBelanja

Official LHDN references: where every ListBelanja figure comes from

ListBelanja does not write tax facts by hand. The relief table, tax rates, rebates, deadlines, capital allowances and e-Invoice thresholds are read from the official pages of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia listed below — every day, and a change is accepted only after two identical readings so that a transient error on the source page never reaches you. This page is the list of those sources, with what the app derives from each — so you can check for yourself. For official decisions these sources are the authority, not ListBelanja.

Sources synced & what is derived from each

  • Individual tax reliefs — hasil.gov.my — The relief table for each year of assessment: 25 categories for YA2025, caps, sub-limits & conditions, receipt needed or not. The app derives a page per relief, a "Can I claim X?" page per item, AI receipt matching and the calculators.
  • Individual income tax rates — hasil.gov.my — Chargeable income bands & rates (top rate 30%), the RM400 personal rebate when chargeable income does not exceed RM35,000. Used by the tax calculator, PCB calculator, family optimiser & e-Filing.
  • Return Form Filing Programme — hasil.gov.my — Form BE (30 April; e-Filing 15 May) & Form B (30 June; e-Filing 15 July) deadlines for each year of assessment, together with the Form B & BE explanatory notes (capital allowances, CP500, HK-4 rent, 7-year record keeping). Used by the deadline banner, reminders & form boxes.
  • e-Invoice implementation timeline — hasil.gov.my — Implementation phases & the exemption threshold (RM3,000,000 from 1 September 2026). Used by the e-Invoice tab, invoice generator & e-Invoice page.
  • MyInvois portal — myinvois.hasil.gov.my — Where businesses issue & validate e-Invoices. The app recognises MyInvois validation links on receipts and prepares drafts with TIN & codes — you issue them yourself on the portal.
  • MyTax — mytax.hasil.gov.my — The official e-Filing portal. ListBelanja prepares every Form BE/B box with a Copy button; you submit on MyTax yourself. The app does not connect to your MyTax account.
  • HASiL media statements & announcements — hasil.gov.my — Official announcements (e-Invoice, filing programme, reliefs). Used by the LHDN updates page & the Atom feed per language; every entry links to the original document.
  • Offences, fines & penalties — hasil.gov.my — Reference on the consequences of filing or paying late — behind the deadline reminders; the app does not compute penalties.

How the sync works

  1. Every day the pages above are read and the values found are compared with what is stored.
  2. A change is accepted only after two identical readings on different days — a single odd reading (a page being edited, a transient error) changes nothing.
  3. A year of assessment LHDN has not published yet is carried PROVISIONALLY from the previous year and clearly marked as provisional on the pages & in the app.
  4. The date of the last check is shown at the top of every tax page ("Checked against official LHDN sources") and in the llms.txt file for AI models.

YA2025 reliefs as synced

LHDN has not published YA2026 caps yet; YA2025 caps are shown and this page updates itself as soon as the new table is out.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a ListBelanja figure differ from what I read elsewhere?

ListBelanja shows the value on LHDN's official page for the stated year of assessment, as of the check date shown. Outside articles often quote another year or a budget proposal not yet in force. Check the sources above; if LHDN's own page differs, the new value appears here after two identical readings.

Is ListBelanja connected to LHDN?

No. ListBelanja is an independent Malaysian app — not a licensed tax agent, not affiliated with, endorsed or operated by LHDN, and it does not send your data to LHDN. It reads LHDN's public pages like any visitor, and you file on MyTax yourself.
