Telegram is already open on your phone all day. Connect it once, and every receipt photo or PDF you send to the ListBelanja bot goes straight into the family receipt inbox — no app to open, no upload, nothing forgotten. On iPhone it is the fastest route.

How to connect (once)
- In the app: Settings → Telegram → Connect Telegram. The app gives you an 8-character code (valid 15 minutes) and a direct link to the bot.
- Tap the link — Telegram opens on the ListBelanja bot with the code filled in. Tap Start.
- The bot replies "Connected". Done: send receipt photos or PDFs any time.
What happens after you send
- Every file lands in the family receipt inbox (same as email receipts) — you see the sender as "Telegram".
- Tap Process in the app when you're ready: the AI reads the receipt, matches that year's LHDN reliefs and fills the shopping list.
- Duplicates are detected; only photos (JPG/PNG/WEBP/HEIC) and PDFs are accepted; your plan's monthly inbox limit is shared with email.
- Bot commands: /status for the connection, /putus to disconnect — or from Settings.
Privacy
- Only chats you connected with a code can send — someone else who finds the bot cannot put anything into your account.
- The bot sends nothing about you to Telegram except a short reply ("Receipt received").
- Disconnect any time; files already received stay in your records.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Telegram bot free?
Yes. It is included in the Free plan; files you send count towards your plan's monthly inbox limit, and the AI scan only happens when you tap Process.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes — it is the recommended route on iPhone, since iOS does not offer "Share to" for web apps. Telegram, email and the camera all work.
