Rental income without pen-and-paper maths
Rental income is reported with the HK-4 working sheet. Not every cost is deductible: repairs are, renovations aren't; loan interest is, principal repayments aren't. ListBelanja separates them for you.

How ListBelanja fills in HK-4
- Add each property: type, address, rental start date and your ownership share.
- Enter the monthly rent — the app works out the yearly gross rent.
- Scan assessment, fire insurance and repair receipts; each is categorised.
- An HK-4 is generated for every property and the statutory rental income is carried to Form B or BE.
Frequently asked questions
Is rental income reported in Form B or BE?
Passive rental can go in Form BE if you have no other business income. Actively managed rentals (such as a serviced homestay) count as business income in Form B. ListBelanja asks a few questions and decides.
