ListBelanja
The whole household pays the least tax — without doing the sums yourself
In a family where two people file Form BE, a receipt can only be claimed by one of them. Which one? It depends on each person's marginal tax rate, the remaining cap on each relief and how the child reliefs are split. ListBelanja works it all out with that year's LHDN tables and suggests the allocation that is lowest for the whole household — you review and confirm before anything changes.

How it works
- Each member fills in their own e-Filing profile — income, PCB, family status, children — in the Tax tab. That data belongs to that member and is not visible to others.
- The family head presses "Run optimiser". The server works out each member's tax with that year's LHDN rates, rebates and caps, then tries different receipt allocations until the household's combined tax is lowest.
- Suggestions are listed: which receipt, from whom, to whom, how much it saves — together with the estimated PCB and refund or balance payable for each person.
- You review and press Apply. Receipts never move; only the claimant changes, and receipts in a locked or already-filed year are left untouched.

Caps and type for every relief are read from the YA2025 LHDN table; a new LHDN relief appears here and in the optimiser without an app update.
Every cap, always visible
Every relief category in the Tax tab carries a cap status: Available, Nearing cap (80% and above) or Cap reached — including shared groups such as the lifestyle cap that several categories draw on. You know before you buy whether a receipt still has tax value.
The status is worked out from the receipts already scanned and that year's LHDN caps, so it is correct for previous years too.
Child reliefs: 100% or 50:50
LHDN allows child reliefs to be claimed in full by one parent or split 50:50. The optimiser compares all three options against each spouse's marginal rate and shows the lowest — and warns if both spouses have declared the same children (a double claim).
Estimated PCB & refund — honestly
For each member: tax charged, PCB already deducted by the employer, and whether you are likely to receive a refund or need to pay a balance. All of it is a planning estimate from the numbers you entered — not an official LHDN assessment, and spending more does not necessarily produce a refund.
Privacy within the family
- Calculations run on the server; the family head sees only each member's tax, PCB and balance — never their income.
- Any member can switch off "Share tax data with the family head" in Settings; that member is left out entirely and their receipts are never reallocated.
- Form B members (business income) are excluded — business is handled in the Side Income module.
- Nothing is filed on your behalf; you submit yourself on MyTax.

Frequently asked questions
Does the optimiser file our taxes for us?
No. It calculates and suggests; the claimant of a receipt only changes after you press Apply, and you still file yourself on MyTax. It is a planning tool, not a tax agent.
Who can run the optimiser?
Only the family head (household admin), and only for members who allow tax-data sharing. A one-person household does not need it — the tax calculator is enough.
What if LHDN changes a cap or adds a new relief?
LHDN's tables are checked every day and every relief carries its own year of assessment. The optimiser always calculates with the rules of the receipt's year — this year and previous years — with no app update.
Are the PCB and refund figures exact?
They are planning estimates from the numbers members entered (income, PCB from the EA form, reliefs from receipts). The official assessment comes from LHDN after you file. Use them to plan who should claim what — not as a guarantee of a refund.
